• Evaluation and implementation of MPLS VPN project across India spanning 54 branches: Managed end-to-end, starting with RFP preparation in partnership with technical consultant, Floatation of the RFP inviting bids, Evaluation and final award of contract with issue of Purchase Order delineating SLAs. Oversaw project implementation and integration
• Evaluation of the tender bids for implementation of SOA based software architecture for core business and implementation of Data Center and Disaster recovery Sites on co-hosting basis: Was part of the IT team that evaluated technical bids for implementation of SOA based software architecture and co-hosting of Data Center and DR-BCP sites: Gained valuable knowledge on SOA architecture, about various software technologies and products. Strengthened my knowledge about Infrastructure designs (Data Center, DR-BCP) and various CISCO networking/security products.
• Set up infrastructure (both LAN and WAN) for newly established Treasury department
• Purchase and successful integration of CISCO 5520 firewall, ISA Proxy Server & CISCO L3 Switches in the Central Data Center.
• Data Center Restructuring, WAN up gradation of 30 branches including replacement of Core Router
• Roll out of SAN Solution, Blade Servers & Virtualization. Implementation of pro-tem DR site.

• Evaluation & Recommendation for implementing appropriate technologies
• Budgeting & Controlling of IT Infrastructure on annual as well as quarterly basis. Periodic reviews done in consultation with the management of the Corporation.
